Okay, this post may not be about Manchester United or Liverpool or any of the other big players.
This blog is about Cambridge United and their play off against Torquay at Wembley today.
Cambridge United, for the 2nd year running, have yet again found themselves playing at Wembley to get back into League football. They have been out of the league for 4 years and is about time they found themselves going back up.
My other half is a fan of Cambridge, and having grown up in Cambridge, has been a fan for the most part of his life. He went to the Wembley match last year but sadly we lost 
Other half wasn’t very happy at where he was seated because he was right at the top of the stadium and he said it was like watching ants playing! He vowed that he would not go again.
However, we just missed out on the top spot by 2 points and had to go through the play-offs again. We yet again found ourselves at Wembley. Being the loving girlfriend and future wife, I bought other half a ticket for his birthday and sat him behind the goal with the Amber Army.
Hmmm, maybe wishing now that I hadn’t bothered sending him as it appears we lost 2-0!! Not sure what kind of mood he is going to be in when he comes home but maybe I had better go to bed and stay out the way!
Perhaps next year will be 3rd time lucky??
